Returned for his final season of outdoor eligibility … Competed in seven meets for the Tigers during his senior season … Recorded new personal bests in both the 800 meters and 1,500 meters during the 2009 outdoor season … Kicked off the campaign with a new overall personal-best time of 1 minute, 53.26 seconds to finish fourth in the 800-meter run at the Louisiana Classics … Finished 22nd in the event at the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 1:53.65 … Also ran the 1,500 meters at the SEC meet, crossing the finish line in 21st place with a personal best of 4:00.83 … Did not finish the 5,000 meters at the SEC Outdoor meet … Also ran the 800 meters at the LSU Tiger Relays (1:55.92), Sun Angel Classic (1:54.99) and LSU Alumni Gold (1:56.26) … Ran as a member of LSU’s 4×800-meter relay team that placed fourth at the LSU Tiger Relays and Texas Relays … Ran the third leg on the foursome that clocked a seasonal-best time of 7:28.57 to finish in 12th place at the Penn Relays … Honored for his outstanding performance in the classroom with his third selection to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Competed in eight meets for the Tigers during the 2008 season … Recorded an indoor seasonal best of 1 minute, 56.41 seconds in winning the 800-meter title at the LSU NCAA Indoor Qualifier … Also ran the 800 meters at the Bayou Bengal Invitational (1:59.85) and LSU Twilight Invitational (1:57.13) during the indoor season … Ran the 400 meters in LSU’s season opener at the Purple Tiger Classic (53.70) … Just missed setting a new personal best in the half mile with a time of 1:53.66 at the LSU Alumni Gold during the outdoor season … Also lined up in the 800 meters at the Tiger Invitational (1:56.03), Cole/Lancon Twilight Classic (1:54.30) and Warhawk Classic (1:56.27) during the 2008 outdoor season … Was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second time in his career.
2007
Concentrated primarily on the 800 meters during the 2007 campaign … Placed 23rd in the event at the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships … Crossed the finish line in second place at the LSU Tiger Classic with a time of 1:56.50 … Clocked an outdoor seasonal-best time of 1:54.34 at the LSU Alumni Gold … Also competed at the Sun Angel Classic during the outdoor season … Ran the half mile in five meets during the indoor season … Recorded a new indoor personal-best time of 1:54.93 at the Tyson Invitational … Took second place in the 800 meters in the season opener at the Purple Tiger Classic (1:58.33) … Finished fourth at the Bayou Bengal Invitational (1:57.72) and ninth at the Lobo Invitational (1:58.35) … Made the trip to New York to compete in the prestigious New Balance Collegiate Invitational where he placed 30th … Ran the 400 meters at the LSU Twilight Invitational, finishing 19th with a time of 52.75 … Was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll following the season.

A middle distance runner for the Tigers … Shattered his PR in the 800 meters during the outdoor season, clocking a 1:53.64 at the LSU Alumni Gold … Was just off that pace at the SEC Championships, finishing in 1:53.70 … Also clocked a 4:02.10 in the 1,500 meters at that meet … During the indoor season, posted a personal best of 4:27.20 in the mile at the LSU Twilight … Turned in a seasonal best of 1:59.66 in the 800 meters.
2005
Ran in just three meets during the indoor season … Turned in a top 800-meter time of 1:59.23 at the Bayou Bengal Invitational … Clocked 4:33.21 in the mile at the LSU Twilight.
PRIOR TO LSU
Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Brother Martin High School … Named the school’s track MVP in both 2003 and 2004 … Helped Brother Martin to the 2002 state cross country title … Served as the cross country team captain in 2003 and the track team captain in 2004 … Came to LSU with personal bests of 1:59 in the 800 meters and 4:27 in the 1,600 meters.
