REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Took a medical redshirt year after tearing her anterior cruciate ligament in only the second game of the season against Louisiana-Monroe … Named to the Southeastern Conference’s Academic Honor Roll … Started in both of the Tigers’ first two outings of the season before suffering her injury … Recorded an assist against Troy State in the season opener.

FRESHMAN SEASON (1999)
Fought off a rash of preseason injuries in 1999 and still saw action in 17 games with 16 starts Y Came up with her best outing of the season on Sept. 17 in the Tigers’ 6-0 victory of Nicholls State where she netted her first career goal and recorded an assist Y Finished the 1999 season with one goal and one assist for three points.

A 100-goal scorer while at Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas … Helped her team to second-place finishes in the Texas state tournament in both 1997 and 1998 … Earned First Team All-City and All-District honors in 1997 and 1998 … Finished as the city of San Antonio’s leading scorer with 41 goals in 1998 and earned a spot on the All-State Tournament team … Earned a pair of varsity letters in basketball … Member of the National Honors Society from 1995-99 and a member of the All-District Athletic Academic team.
