REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2001)
Played and started in all 70 games … Named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team … Tied Tara Asbill’s LSU single-season home run record with a team-high 12 homers … Hit a two-run home run which proved to be the difference in the 2-1 win over Iowa in the WCWS … Had the RBI hit to tie the Oklahoma game, which LSU would win in 13 innings … Recorded a season-high five RBIs against Massachusetts and Coastal Carolina … Knocked two home runs against Georgia … Went 5-for-5 with six RBIs, two doubles and a home run in doubleheader against Coastal Carolina … Recorded a hit in all four WCWS games … Ranked third on the team in doubles, RBIs and slugging percentage.
