SENIOR SEASON (2003)
Played in 61 games, starting 53 … Consistent player in the Tiger outfield … Hit her first home run of the season in a 9-4 win over Hawai’i in the NCAA Regionals, despite battling a stomach illness that threatened to keep her from playing … That home run was the fifth home run in the game for the Tigers, an NCAA Tournament team record … Had four multiple-hit games on the season … Ended her career with a three-game hitting streak, after having a five-game hitting streak earlier in the season … Knocked in the game-winning run in a 2-1 win over Northwestern State … In the two-game series with Northwestern State, went 3-for-6 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored.
JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
Played in 55 games, starting 45 … Consistent player in the Tiger outfield … Ranks seventh on the team in hits, doubles and runs scored … Tied for second on the team in triples … Perfect 4-for-4 on stolen base attempts … Recorded eight multiple-hit and two multiple-RBI games … Went 3-for-4 against Arkansas on her way to going 5-for-11 in the series with two RBIs … Against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, she went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
Played in 43 games, starting 14 … Named the SEC Player of the Week on March 19 after batting .556 with six RBIs and three runs scored in the SEC sweep of Tennessee … Hit .197 on the season with 13 hits, two doubles and 12 RBIs … Had 73 putouts and three assists with only three errors for a .962 fielding percentage … Had a season-high 14 putouts against Tennessee.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Started 23 games while playing in 43 games … Was a valuable utility player seeing action at first, third and catcher … Hit .278 for the season with 22 hits, 11 runs scored, five doubles and 12 RBIs … Recorded three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored with two doubles against Southwest Texas … Recorded 82 putouts and 12 assists … Had a fielding percentage of .969 with only three errors in 97 chances … Had a season-high 13 putouts against South Florida … Had two assists on four occasions.
FRESHMAN SEASON (1999)
Did not see any game action and received a redshirt year.
HIGH SCHOOL
Led Clovis High School to the softball valley championships … Named the team’s Best Offensive Player and won the Coach’s Award … Team captain for three years … Named to the All-Valley, All-State, All-NEVL and All-Western Region teams … Was a four-year letterman in softball … Also participated in basketball and volleyball.
