Named to the NCAA Region 3 All-Tournament team … Played in 42 games, starting 39 … Missed 22 games to end the regular season with a broken finger in the left hand, but returned to play in the NCAA Regionals … Ranked as the third hardest player to strikeout on the team with just 10t Ks in 93 at-bats … Ranked third in stolen bases and sixth on the team in batting average … Committed just two errors in the field.
JUNIOR SEASON (2001)
Played in 54 games, starting 51 … Was plagued by injuries all season … Batted .289 for the season with 33 hits and 25 runs scored … Ranked fourth on the team with 11 stolen bases in 12 attempts … Recorded season-high three hits in a game on three occasions … Scored season-high three runs against Wisconsin and Nicholls State … Hit .324 in SEC play … Had 15 putouts in centerfield with no errors for a perfect fielding percentage.
PRE-LSU (OKALOOSA-WALTON CC 1999-2000)
Played centerfield for the 1999 and 2000 Panhandle Conference Champions at Okaloosa-Walton Community College … Batted .388 during her sophomore season, while compiling a .550 on-base percentage… Holds the Lady Raider single-season records for stolen bases (52), runs scored (64) and hits (76) … Member of the All-Panhandle Conference and All-State first teams her sophomore year … Named second-team All-Panhandle Conference and All-State during her freshman season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Helped lead Pineville High School to three straight Class 4A state championships … Hit .389 her senior season … Honored as a First-Team All-State and All-District selection for three straight seasons … Named the 1998 Class 3-4A Most Valuable Player … Also lettered in track and field, basketball, weightlifting and cross country … Was a state champion weightlifter in the 114-pound weight class.
