Three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll and a three-year starter on the offensive line for the Tigers … Played in 42 games in career, starting 39 times … LSU was 29-10 in games in which he started … Started final 33 games of his career … Played nearly 2,500 offensive snaps during his three years on the offensive line … Originally came to LSU as a defensive lineman, but switched to the offensive side of the ball midway through his redshirt freshman season … Spent a week in May of 2009 on a medical mission in the Dominican Republic as he continues to pursue his goal of attending medical school … Graduated in December of 2009 with a degree in kinesiology with emphasis on human movement.

SENIOR SEASON (2009)
A three-year starter on the offensive line for the Tigers … Started all 13 games at right guard for the Tigers in 2009 … Played over 700 snaps from scrimmage as a senior, which included every offensive play in eight of LSU’s 13 games … Recorded 45 knockdown blocks … Had season-best eight knockdowns in win over Louisiana-Lafayette … Named the 2009 recipient of the Coates Scholar-Athlete Award, which goes to the top student-athlete on the football team.

JUNIOR SEASON (2008)
Started all 13 games at right guard for the Tigers … Played a total of 852 snaps and finished season with 45 knockdown blocks … Graded out at 85% or better in seven games, including season-best 90% in bowl win over Georgia Tech … Played every snap on offense in seven straight games (Week 3 thru Week 10) … Played season-high of 80 snaps in back-to-back games vs. Alabama and Troy … Played perhaps the best game of the season in 38-3 win over Georgia Tech in Chick-fil-A Bowl … In that game, played 64 snaps and finished with six knockdowns and graded out at 88% … Had five knockdowns in games vs. Appalachian State, South Carolina and Tulane.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2007)
Played and started 13 games for the Tigers in 2007 … Missed the Kentucky game with an injury … Played a total of 902 snaps … Key member of an LSU offensive line that helped the Tigers rank second in the SEC in rushing yards with 214 yards per game … Turned in his best game of the season versus Alabama, recording nine knockdown blocks … Had seven knockdowns against both South Carolina and Arkansas.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2006)
Switched from defensive tackle to offensive guard midway through the season due to injuries …Played in three games, seeing the field against Louisiana-Lafayette, Arizona and Tulane, all on the defensive side of the ball … Did not see any action on offense.
