One of the best all-around athletes on the LSU campus … Handles both the punting and placekicking duties for the LSU football team and is also a member of the LSU baseball team … Sat out the 2006 baseball season after undergoing Tommy John surgery … Started at third base for the Tigers in 2005 … Three-year starter as a punter and placekicker for the Tigers …. Ranked among the school’s all-time leaders in punter and field goals … Finished career ranked No. 5 in school history in career punting average (41.0) … Ranked seventh in school history in both career field goals attempted (44) and career field goals made (26) … His career field goal percentage of .569 ranks as the 10th best in LSU history … Also a member of the LSU baseball team where he serves as a starting infielder.

SENIOR SEASON (2006)
Handled all kickoffs and punting duties for the Tigers … Averaged 41.9 yards on 37 punts for the Tigers in 2006 … Had five punts downed inside the 20-yard line … Capped career with a 43.5 effort on two punts against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl … Averaged 48.2 yards on four punts against Tulane … Had season long punt of 58 yards against Tulane … Versus Auburn, punted the ball a season-high six times for a 42.0 yard average …  Also used on kickoffs and he averaged 61.9 yards on 75 kickoffs … Was a perfect 5-of-5 on PATs in 2006 … Successfully converted a pair of fake kicks in 2006 – one coming on a fake punt against Tennessee and the other coming on a fake field goal against Notre Dame … Finished the year with two rushes for 25 yards, both of which accounted for first downs … Has 15 field goals of 40-yards or better … Can punt in both long and short situations and has mastered the art of the “pooch” punt … Goes into senior season ranked seventh in LSU history in career field goals with 26 and fifth in career punting average at 40.8.

JUNIOR SEASON (2005)
Rare breed in college athletics, serving as both a punter and placekicker for the Tigers in 2005 … Ranked sixth in the SEC with a 40.5 average … Was one of the main reasons the Tigers ranked first in the SEC and in net punting with a 39.0 average … Kicked 10 field goals as well … Led all punters in the SEC by having 44.1 percent of his punts downed inside the 20-yard line … Of Jackson’s 59 punts, 26 were downed inside the 20 … Handling LSU’s kickoff duties, Jackson helped the Tigers rank first in the SEC in kickoff coverage with a net average of 45.5 yards …                    … Jackson connected on 10-of-19 field goals, which included a season-long of 50 yards in win over Miami … In all, had 6 field goals of 40-yards or better … Named National Special Teams Player of the Week by the Master’s Coaches Panel against Alabama … In the win over the Crimson Tide, Jackson punted 6 times for a 45.0 average … Four of his 6 punts against the Crimson Tide were downed inside the 20-yard line … Also connected on a 42-yard field goal in the Alabama contest … A week later, earned SEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after having all 3 of his punts downed inside the 20-yard line in the 40-7 LSU win. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2004)
Handled just about every kicking chore for the Tigers … Connected on 11-of-17 field goals with seven going for 40 yards or better … Kicked a 53-yard field goal in win over Arkansas, which ranks as the third-longest field goal in school history … A week earlier, had a 51-yard field goal vs. Ole Miss … One of two kickers in school history to have two 50-yard field goals in the same season … Led all kickers in the SEC with 7 field goals of 40-yards or better … As LSU’s punter, averaged 40.0 yards on 50 punts … Had 7 punts of 50-yards or more, which included a career-long of 56 yards vs. Vanderbilt … Named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week against Arkansas after going 3-of-3 on field goals and averaging 40.0 yards on 2 punts … Kicked field goals of 53, 46, and 27-yards against the Razorbacks … Also handled kickoffs for the Tigers … On the baseball diamond in the spring of 2005, earned Freshman All-SEC honors for the Tigers after batting .305 with 1 home run and 17 RBI for the SEC Western Division champions … In all, played in 36 games with 28 starts for the Tiger baseball team. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2003)
True freshman who shared LSU’s kicking duties with Ryan Gaudet for most of the season … Handled LSU’s kickoff assignment the entire season … Took over the role as LSU’s primary kicker against Alabama and responded by connecting on 5-of-7 field goals over LSU’s last four games … Drilled a 45-yard field goal in 17-14 win over Ole Miss and followed that with then a career-long 47-yard field goal in win over Arkansas … Hit on 2-of-3 field goal attempts in 27-3 win over Alabama … For the year, was 21-of-23 on extra points and 5-of-8 on field goals … Had one kick blocked, against Georgia in the SEC title game … Handled kickoff duties with pinpoint accuracy for the Tigers, which is one of the key reasons LSU ranked first in the SEC in kickoff coverage defense with a 16.7 average … Scored a season-best 13 points in the 55-24 win over Arkansas … Had streak of 21 straight PATs snapped with 2 misses vs. Georgia in SEC title game.
