INDOOR/OURDOOR TRACK SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006)
Swept the 2006 runner of the year awards as he was named the SEC, NCAA South Central Region and NCAA Div. I Men’s Track Athlete of the Year during both the indoor and outdoor seasons … Made history at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, becoming just the second athlete to ever win four titles at one national meet, joining Jesse Owens who did so in 1935 and 1936 … Claimed victories in the 100 meters (10.09), 400 meters (44.53), 4×100 relay (38.44) and 4×400 relay (3:01.58) … Was also the first athlete in NCAA history to ever win both the 100 and 400 meters at the championship meet … His winning time in the 100 meters broke his own school record mark of 10.12, while his time in the 400 meters marked a new personal best and ranks as the second fastest time in school history … NCAA Mideast Regional champion in the 100 and 400 meters … Won the 200 and 400 meters at the SEC Championships … With the successful 200-400 double at the conference meet he became just the third athlete in SEC history, and the first since the 1970 season, to accomplish the rare feat … Finished the outdoor season undefeated in the open events, winning three 100-meter titles, two 200-meter crowns and four 400-meter races … Also helped the Tigers’ 4×100 and 4×400-meter relay teams to undefeated seasons as both groups won nine straight races during the outdoor campaign … During the indoor season, won the 400 meters, anchored the 4×400-meter relay to the national title and earned runner-up honors in the 200 meters at the NCAA Championships, setting three school records in the process … Winning time of 45.58 in the 400 meters ranks as the third fastest time in collegiate history and the fastest time in the world in 2006, even bettering the time of 45.58 that won the IAAF World Championships title … 200-meter time of 20.39 in the championships final ranks fifth on the all-time collegiate list and eight on the all-time world list … 45.9 anchor-leg split helped the Tigers’ 4×400 relay to a new school record time of 3:04.01 … SEC champion in the 400 meters … Also helped the Tigers’ to the conference title in the 4×400 relay.

FOOTBALL SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005)
Named both the SEC’s Indoor and Outdoor Freshman Runner of the Year … Capped the collegiate season, by earning a trio of All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships … Anchored the Tigers to a national title and collegiate record in the 4×400-meter relay (2:59.59), clocking a blistering 44.0-second final-leg split … Final time of 2:59.59 was only the third sub-three minute performance in NCAA history and the first since the 1988 season … Also ran the second leg on the Tigers’ 4×100-meter relay team that earned All-American honors for their fourth-place showing (38.86) … Individually, just missed out on a NCAA title in the 200 meters, earning runner-up honors with a time of 20.08 … Was crowned the NCAA Mideast Regional champion in the 200 meters after finishing with a personal-best and school record time of 20.02 … Time ranked as the fifth fastest in the world in 2005 … Clocked 20.16 in winning the SEC Outdoor title in the event … Following the collegiate season, went on to compete at the USA Championships in the 200 meters … Advanced to the finals and finished ninth overall (20.71) … During the indoor season, ran both the 60 and the 200 meters … Established a new school record in the 200 meters on three separate occasions … First broke the old record of 20.69, set by Eddie Griffin in 1996, at the New Balance Invitational in New York City … Clocked a meet record 20.67 seconds in taking home top honors … Bettered that effort in the prelims (20.47) and finals (20.39) of the SEC Championships … Time of 20.39 earned him a second-place finish and all-conference honors … Qualified to the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 200 meters … Advanced to the finals after finishing third in the prelims with a time of 20.54 … Would have finished seventh in the finals, but was disqualified for a lane violation … Turned in a personal best time of 6.74 in the 60-meter dash during the prelims of the SEC Championships … Went on to score for the Tigers in the event, placing sixth overall (6.77) … Finished up his second season as a wide receiver on the Tigers’ football team … Played in 10 games, including the Tigers’ 40-3 win over Miami in the Peach Bowl … Finished the season with four catches for 86 yards, including a 49-yard touchdown reception in LSU’s win over North Texas … Also scored on a 36-yard run against Mississippi State … Finished the year with a total of 27 yards on four rushes.

FOOTBALL FRESHMAN SEASON (2004)
Saw action as both a wide receiver and kickoff returner as a true freshmen on the Tigers’ football team … Suffered a broken clavicle against Vanderbilt (Oct. 30) and missed the final three games of the regular season … Returned to action at the Capital One Bowl … Played in a total of nine games with no starts … Caught five passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns … Also rushed three times for seven yards … Averaged 20.3 yards on 10 kickoff returns, including a season-long 42-yard return against Arkansas State.

HIGH SCHOOL
Came to LSU as one of the most coveted recruits in the country … Running the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes as a prep, he won a total of nine Florida state titles, 10 regional, district and county crowns and nine Cape Coast Conference titles … Is the only athlete in Florida history to win state titles in the 100, 200 and 400 in back-to-back years (2003 and 2004) … As a senior set the national record in the indoor 200 meters, clocking 20.69 to become the first high school athlete to run under 21 seconds inside … Time ranked as the 10th best in the world in 2004 … Outdoors he posted the fastest 200 meter time in the nation (20.49) and the second fastest times in the 100 (10.29) and 400 (45.44) … His mark of 45.44 in the 400 shattered the Florida state meet record and marked a personal best in the event … For his efforts he was named the USA Track and Field, NIKE, Gatorade, National High School Coaches Association, Florida Dairy Farmers, Central Florida and Brevard County Track and Field Athlete of the Year during both his junior and senior seasons.
