SENIOR SEASON (2003)
Talented senior who made the move from defensive end to the defensive tackle position in 2003 … Played in all 14 games for the Tigers … Had an outstanding fall camp and earned the starting position at defensive tackle alongside Chad Lavalais …Started in first 6 games of the season … Had 28 tackles and 2.5 tackles for losses … Added 3 quarterback pressures and broke up four passes … Had 5 tackles in 17-10 win over Georgia and in a loss to Florida … Opened season with 2 tackles for losses vs. Louisiana-Monroe … Spent first two years playing mainly on special teams … Originally signed with LSU as a tight end and played there for one season before moving to defense in the spring of 2000.

JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
Played in all 13 games with one start …Started at defensive end in place of an injured Marquise Hill against Ole Miss … Finished year with 20 tackles, two tackles for losses and a pair of sacks … Had best game of career against Louisiana-Lafayette with seven tackles and two sacks for 11-yards in losses … Had three tackles in start vs. Ole Miss.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
Played in eight games for the Tigers on both special teams and as a defensive end … Finished regular season with four tackles and one tackle for a 4-yard loss … Had the tackle for loss against Mississippi State.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Played in only the season-opener against Western Carolina … Did not record any statistics … Redshirted as a true freshman in 1999.

HIGH SCHOOL
Class 5A All-State selection as a junior … All-District as a junior … As a junior was member of the Lake Charles American Press’s All-Southwest Louisiana team and Louisiana Football Magazine’s Outstanding Player in the Southwest … Senior year had 12 receptions for 148 yards and one TD, at fullback he had 22 carries for 205 yards and two TDs … On defense, he had 15 tackles and 18 assists … Helped lead team to 1998 District 3-5A second place finish and regional finish in Class 5A playoffs … As a junior had 15 receptions for 240 yards and two TDs and 27 carries for 155 yards … Also threw javelin for the track team … Coached in high school by Jimmy Shaver.
