SENIOR SEASON (2001)
Started first 7 games at strong safety for the Tigers … Missed two games – Alabama and Middle Tennessee – with an ankle injury … Returned to action in a backup role vs. Arkansas … Missed second half of Ole Miss game with an ankle injury … Played in 11 games with 7 starts … Recorded 38 tackles and 4 for losses … Had 2 interceptions.

JUNIOR SEASON (2000)
Had a breakthrough season, starting all 12 games at strong safety while finishing fourth on the team in tackles … Posted 71 tackles including 42 unassisted (one for loss) … Broke up five passes on the season … Picked up a career high 13 tackles including seven solos against Auburn … Posted nine tackles against Mississippi State and eight against Alabama … Earned LSU’s Defensive Player of the Week honors along with Chad Lavalais for the Alabama game … Had three tackles (two solo) and forced a pair of fumbles in LSU’s win over Georgia Tech in Peach Bowl.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (1999)
Became starter at drop linebacker in third game of season and started four games before he was sidelined by an injury … Starts came vs. Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky … Also played as reserve in first two games vs. San Jose State, North Texas … Gave the Tigers depth in both the secondary and linebacker position … Versatile athlete who can play the run and defend the pass … Finished with 33 tackles, including six for losses of 25 yards, two sacks for minus 15 yards and two pass break-ups … Had eight tackles against Auburn, including two for a loss (-7) … Had a season-high nine tackles at Georgia … Enjoyed all-around performance against Florida … Made six tackles, two for a loss (-8), one sack (-7) and one pass break-up.

TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (1998)
Played in nine games in a reserve role and on special teams … Made two tackles on the year … Saw action on 32 defensive plays from scrimmage, with extensive action vs. Idaho … Saw special teams play on kickoff, kickoff return and punt return teams … One of just three true freshman to earn a varsity letter in 1998.
