2004 Season
Played in 21 games as a reserve outfielder and pinch runner, scoring 10 runs … did not record a hit in six at-bats, but drew five walks on the year … scored the eventual winning run on Clay Harris’ ninth-inning sacrifice fly in LSU’s 4-0 NCAA Super Regional win over Texas A&M (June 13).

2003 Season
Appeared in 15 games as a reserve outfielder, batting .200 (2-for-10) with six runs scored and one steal … singled for his first career LSU hit and scored a run in the Tigers’ win versus Tennessee (April 25) … also singled and scored in LSU win over Auburn (May 10).

2002 Season
Appeared in seven games in a reserve role … 0-for-1 at the plate with one strikeout … also recorded one putout in the outfield.

High School
Lettered four years in baseball (centerfielder), four in track (javelin, 200 meters) and three in basketball (guard) at Catholic High School in New Iberia, La… . a three-time all-district and all-regional selection in baseball … also the state runner-up in the javelin competition … batted .450 in 2000 with seven homers and 50 RBI … for his career, he hit .425 with 15 homers and 125 RBI.
