2005 Season
Sidewinding righty who was one of the Tigers’ most valuable relievers … Member of the SEC Good Works Team and received the conference’s highest community service honor with a post-graduate scholarship … Did not allow a run in a season-high 5.1 innings vs. Kentucky (5/7); limited the Wildcats to four hits, walked two and struck out a career-high five … Entered into a ninth-inning jam vs. Nicholls State on (4/5) with the tying and winning runs aboard with one out; turned away the scare with two quick outs … registered his fourth save in as many chances in the game vs. Nicholls State … Started the season with 12.2 consecutive scoreless innings in 10 appearances; streak came to an end at Alabama (4/3).

2004 Season
Appeared in a team-high 26 games (all in relief), posting a 3-3 mark and a 2.79 ERA in 58 innings with 13 walks and 41 strikeouts … also led the staff with four saves on the year … 2-2 with a 3.66 ERA in SEC regular-season games, recording five walks and 20 Ks in 32 innings … allowed just a .231 cumulative batting average versus right-handed hitters … pitched 1.2 innings in LSU’s College World Series games versus South Carolina (June 21), allowing three runs on three hits with two walk and one strikeout … earned the save in Game 1 of the NCAA Super Regional versus Texas A&M (June 12), limiting the Aggies to two hits in 2.1 scoreless innings with one walk and two Ks … pitched two scoreless innings in NCAA Regional title game versus College of Charleston (June 6), allowing one hit with one walk … picked up relief win at Kentucky (May 8), firing three scoreless innings with two hits, no walks and one strikeout … earned win versus Vanderbilt (May 15), limiting the Commodores to one run on three hits in 3.2 innings with no walks and three Ks … earned save versus Tulane (April 27) with 1.2 shutout innings (no hits, no walks, 3 Ks).

2003 Season
Posted a 4.63 ERA in 11.2 relief innings (eight appearances/no decisions), allowing six runs on 12 hits with two walks and five strikeouts … made SEC debut by pitching a perfect inning at Georgia (March 21), recording two Ks … pitched 1.1 shutout innings versus Tennessee (April 25), surrendering just one hit … worked a career-high 2.1 innings versus Loyola-New Orleans (May 6), allowing one run on one hit with no walks and one strikeout.

Earned four letters in baseball (pitcher/first base/third base) and one letter in basketball (forward) at Alexandria Senior High … helped lead his team to four district championships and the 2000 state semi-finals … played baseball for coach Don Boniol, the father of LSU assistant equipment supervisor Mike Boniol … a 2000 all-state selection and a three-time all-district choice … named the 2000 district most valuable player … as a senior, posted a 9-3 mark and a 0.95 ERA with 36 walks and 114 strikeouts … also batted .300 with five home runs.
