An excellent pitcher who earned 2021 Freshman All-America recognition from Collegiate Baseball newspaper … prior to LSU, he was regarded as the top prep pitcher in the New Orleans area … on the mound, he has a very smooth operation and has a history of commanding all of his pitches … has the ability to pitch inside with his fastball, something that is usually not characteristic of younger pitchers … has a high maturity level that will serve him well on the college level … a member of the 2022 SEC Academic Honor Roll as a general business major.
2022 Season
Pitched in six games (four starts), posting a 2-0 record and a 6.55 ERA in 11.0 innings with five walks and 13 strikeouts … earned a win over McNeese (March 9) as a starter, recording three shutout innings with one hit, two walks and three strikeouts … recorded a win over Southern (Feb. 26) in a starting role, firing 4.0 scoreless innings with four hits, one walk and four strikeouts.
2021 Season
Appeared in 18 games (nine starts), posting a 6-2 record and a 4.08 ERA in 39.2 innings with 17 walks and 36 strikeouts … excellent relief outing in championship game of the NCAA Eugene Regional vs. Oregon (June 7), pitching a scoreless fifth and sixth inning with one hit, one walk and two strikeouts … made first career SEC start on April 24 at Ole Miss, working three innings and allowing one run on two hits with one walk and one strikeout … earned win in a starting role vs. UL Monroe (April 15), needing just 29 pitches to complete three scoreless innings … posted win over South Alabama (March 30), working two shutout innings as the starter and allowing no hits with one walk and one strikeout … defeated Southeastern Louisiana (March 16), working four innings and limiting the Lions to three runs on five hits with no walks and three strikeouts … earned win at New Orleans (March 10) – 5.0 IP, no runs on four hits, one walk, seven strikeouts … posted win over Southern (March 3) – 5.0 IP, no runs on two hits, no walks, six strikeouts … relief win at UL Lafayette (Feb. 24) – two scoreless innings, no hits, no walks, two strikeouts.

A 2020 and 2019 All-State and All-Metro selection … pitched 133 innings during his high school career, recording 30 wins and 310 strikeouts … at the plate, he collected 184 career hits with 10 homers and 120 RBI.
