2021 Season
Played in 37 games (20 starts), batting .226 (19-for-84) with three doubles, five homers, 14 RBI and 14 runs … started 11 games in center field, eight at designated hitter and one in left field … launched a two-run homer in Game 2 of NCAA Super Regional at Tennessee (June 13) … 2-for-3 vs. Grambling State (April 27) with his fourth homer of the year, a solo shot … blasted a two-out, two-run homer in the seventh inning vs. Miss. State (March 21), extending LSU’s lead from 4-2 to 6-2 in an eventual 8-3 win … hit .500 (6-for-12) the week of Feb. 22-27 with one double, one homer, three RBI, four runs scored and one stolen base … in LSU’s win over Nicholls on Feb. 27, Drost collected three hits in five at-bats with a double, a stolen base and two runs scored … launched first career collegiate home run on Feb. 24, a two-run blast in the Tigers’ win at UL-Lafayette.
