2022 Season
Appeared in 16 games (12 starts), posting a 2-4 record and a 5.31 ERA in 61.0 innings with 20 walks and 60 strikeouts … registered eight strikeouts in 4.2 innings over two relief appearances vs. Southeastern La. (May 10) and Ole Miss (May 14), allowing one earned run and no walks … recorded the longest SEC outing of his career April 15 at Arkansas, as he pitched 6.2 innings and allowed four runs on seven hits with two walks and one strikeout … defeated Towson on Feb. 25 with seven shutout innings; limited Towson to no runs on just two hits – a pair of singles – in seven innings with two walks and seven strikeouts … he fired 96 pitches in the outing, 67 for strikes – Money allowed just one Towson base runner to advance beyond first base over the course of seven innings … brilliant effort in LSU’s opening game of the 2022 season (Feb. 18), as he defeated Maine with seven shutout innings; limited the Black Bears to no runs on just two hits – a pair of singles – in seven innings with one walk and a career-high 10 strikeouts … allowed just one Maine base runner to advance beyond first base over the course of seven innings.
2021 Season
Appeared in 15 games (two starts), posting a 1-2 record and an 8.68 ERA in 28 innings with 10 walks and 28 strikeouts … made first career start at Kentucky (April 11), pitching four innings and registering six strikeouts … worked a season-high 4.2 innings vs. Vanderbilt (April 2), recording four strikeouts … pitched 4.1 shutout relief innings vs. Nicholls (Feb. 27), allowing two hits with no walks and four strikeouts.
Prior to LSU
Ranked as the No. 114 player in the country by Perfect Game … a 2019 Gatorade Player of the Year Nominee and a 2019 first team Tennessee All-State selection … in his lone appearance of the shortened 2020 season, worked seven shutout innings with 10 strikeouts and one walk … posted a 10-1 mark in 2019 – 58 innings, 92 strikeouts, 12 walks, 0.99 ERA and a .174 opponent batting average … played in Little League World Series (2013-2014) and participated in a Little League All-Star Game at the White House.
