Summer League Recap: Day 4

BATON ROUGE– Former Tigers Cam Thomas, Jarell Martin, Javonte Smart, and Emmitt Williams, suited up for Day Four of NBA Summer League action in Las Vegas on Wednesday, August 11.

The Brooklyn Nets 27th overall pick, Cameron Thomas, put up a team-high 22 points against the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday afternoon.

He tacked on four assists, two boards, and a steal in a team-high 30 minutes. Thomas is no stranger to the 20-point club, having racked up 22 of them in his lone season at LSU. He’s currently averaging 20.5 PPG through his two Summer League games. Brooklyn defeated Milwaukee, 97-91.

Jarell Martin logged almost seven minutes in a Utah Jazz 2OT victory over the Dallas Mavericks, 81-80.

Emmitt Williams and Javonte Smart did not play due to a coach’s decision.
