Hobbs Earns Olympic Silver Medal
Tokyo, Japan – Aleia Hobbs (USA) can call herself an Olympic silver medalist after her performance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She earned silver as a member of Team USA’s 4×100 meter relay on the penultimate night of action for track and field at the Tokyo Oympics.
Hobbs, who made her Olympic debut, ran in the first round of the 4×100 meter relay for Team USA. She anchored the Americans to a second place finish in their first round heat with a time of 41.90. Although she did not run in the finals, Hobbs will be awarded a silver medal for contributing to USA’s appearance in the final.
