BATON ROUGE – LSU Basketball Head Coach Will Wade will host his December Tipoff Luncheon presented by UPS on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the L’Auberge Hotel and Casino Baton Rouge.
Former LSU Basketball Head Coach and now analyst for the LSU Sports Radio Network, John Brady, will be the guest.
Coach Wade and Coach Brady will give their thoughts of the season to date and look ahead to the December schedule. The monthly gatherings for good food and basketball conversation are open to the public.
Coach Brady was the head coach for 11 years at LSU, taking the Tigers to two SEC titles and the 2006 NCAA Final Four. He is in his third year as the color analyst for the Tigers.
The event will be held at the Bon Temps Buffet. The Buffet (open to those 21 and older) is available at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:10 p.m. The all-you-can-eat buffet ($16.95) is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the casino area.
To get to the L’Auberge Hotel and Casino Baton Rouge from the LSU area, follow LA-30N/Nicholson Drive. Turn onto L’Auberge Crossing Drive and follow the signs to L’Auberge Baton Rouge.
The other dates for the luncheon this season (all on Thursday): January 2, February 6 and March 5.
