Basketball Tigers Add Second Signee, Bradley Ezewiro

BATON ROUGE – LSU Men’s Basketball Coach Will Wade announced on Thursday that the LSU Athletics Department has also received and approved national letter-of-intent papers from Bradley Ezewiro of Torrance, California.

Ezewiro is the second signee for the Tigers in the fall signing period.

Ezewiro, a 6-8, 230-pound center, will play this season at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. He played last season at Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, California.

“We are happy to have Bradley Ezewiro sign with the LSU Tigers,” said Coach Wade. “He continues to improve and will be big asset for us next season as a scorer and rebounder inside for our program.”

Ezewiro is a three-star recruit and is listed as the No. 10 recruit in California and 29th nationally on the list of centers.

Ezewiro in the summer AAU circuit averaged 8.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in the 13-game Nike EYBL season, but raised that to 13.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game during the Peach Invitational, including two double-doubles.

On Wednesday, the Tigers signed Jalen Cook, point guard, from Walker High School in Walker, Louisiana.
