BATON ROUGE – With beer and wine expanding into most seating areas of Tiger Stadium, “The Chute” located on ground level in the south stadium concourse will feature a full bar at a reduced admission cost for the 2019 LSU Football season.
Named after the tunnel used to enter and exit to the lockerroom at Tiger Stadium, admission to The Chute cost $5 per person in 2019.
The area will again be open to fans 21-years of age or older with a valid game ticket. The covered area includes a large LED screen and additional TV monitors for following the Tigers’ game along with contests from around the country prior to kickoff.
Beer and wine selections will be the same as those offered in and around Tiger Stadium. Alcoholic beverages other than beer and wine must be consumed within The Chute.
Water and soft drinks will also be available in The Chute.
Food service will be provided by Burgersmith, which will serve a menu items cooked fresh on-site from a food truck.
The Chute, which has a capacity of 1,250 fans, is located between Gates 23 and 28 on the south side of Tiger Stadium. The Chute opens 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to kickoff each week and will close at the end of the third quarter.
