BATON ROUGE – LSU Sports Radio Network analyst and former head coach John Brady will be the guest speaker for the January edition of Coach Will Wade‘s Tipoff Luncheon presented by UPS at L’Auberge Hotel and Casino Baton Rouge on Thursday.
The monthly gatherings for good food and basketball conversation are open to the public.
Coach Wade will preview the start of SEC play which begins on Tuesday (Jan. 8) at 8 p.m. in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center against Alabama. Tickets are on sale now online at LSUtix.net and through next Tuesday at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office.
Brady won two SEC titles in his 11 seasons as LSU head coach (1997-2008) and took LSU to post-season play six times, including the 2000 NCAA Sweet 16 and the 2006 NCAA Final Four. He is the third winningest coach in LSU basketball history behind only Harry Rabenhorst and Dale Brown. He is in his second season as the color analyst on the LSU Sports Radio Network.
The event will be held at the Bon Temps Buffet. The Buffet is available at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:10 p.m. The all-you-can-eat buffet is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the casino area.

Other dates in 2019 for the monthly luncheons will be February 7 and March 7.
