BATON ROUGE – The LSU women’s basketball program will hold its fourth annual “Lady Tiger Elite Bowling Classic” on Friday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m. at Circle Bowl on Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge.
Registration begins at 6 p.m. with the cost for a four-player bowling team set at $250, $75 for an individual player or $35 for a non-bowler who wants to attend the event. There also are team prizes and individual prizes for highest total scores in both categories.
The event registration cost includes three rounds of bowling, dinner, an awards ceremony, a Lady Tiger Elite Bowling Classic t-shirt, giveaways and bowling classic mementos for all attendees. There also will be an opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items.
There are 16 teams signed up for the event. All proceeds go directly to benefit the LSU women’s basketball program.
For an additional donation of $50 to Lady Tiger Elite, teams will have an opportunity to choose which LSU women’s basketball celebrity bowls with their team. Celebrity teammates are available for selection on a first-come, first-serve basis. Gutter guards also can be purchased for each round at $50 for one round or $100 for all three rounds.
There are four levels of sponsorship for the Lady Tiger Elite Bowling Classic. The Lod Cook Hotel and the Standard at Baton Rouge has already signed up as an All-American sponsor, while Raising Canes is an All-SEC sponsor for the 2015 event.
