BATON ROUGE – The LSU Men’s Tennis team competed at the third day of action at the Florida Gulf Coast University Invitational on Friday where there was two rounds of doubles and three rounds of singles.
The Tigers were unable to come up with a victory on the day with several close matches in both doubles and singles. Despite the day’s struggles, LSU continues to show positive signs as the spring season nears. Head coach Jeff Brown was pleased with the direction of his team.
“We competed well today,” Brown said. “Although we had a couple of guys out we felt we got a lot accomplished.”
LSU will continue action tomorrow with doubles action at 1 p.m.
