COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The LSU Men’s Tennis team competed in the second day of the Conference Challenge at Texas A&M University where sophomore Justin Butsch‘s 6-4, 6-2 victory over No. 46 Jeremy Efferding of A&M highlighted the day’s action for the Tigers.
Saturday included two rounds of singles action as LSU notched six victories heading into the final day of competition. Sophomore Eric Perez went undefeated as he won both of his singles matches.
“We had a few big wins today and improved on some details,” said head coach Jeff Brown. “Tomorrow will be another challenge with everyone playing their fourth singles of the weekend.”
The Tigers hope to finish strong with the final day of play set to open on Sunday with doubles at 9:00 AM at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
