BATON ROUGE – Season ticket deposits for the 2014 LSU softball season are now being accepted online at www.LSUtix.net.
The $25 deposits are for new season ticket holders only and will go towards the full price of a 2014 season ticket. The deadline for $25 deposits is Thursday, October 31. Information on current season ticket renewals and single-game tickets will be distributed at a later date by the LSU Ticket Office.
The Tigers are coming off a program-record 38,844 fans in total attendance and a program-best 1,494 per game average during the 2013 season. LSU also recorded its two-largest crowds and a quartet of Top 10 crowds last season. A single-game program-record 3,231 fans gathered to see the Tigers pick up a 4-3 victory and complete a series sweep over defending national champion Alabama. In total, LSU sold 627 season tickets in 2013.
LSU finished its second season under head coach Beth Torina with the program’s 15th 40-win season since softball was reinstated in 1997. The Tigers are slated to return 14 letterwinners sparked by A.J. Andrews, an NFCA All-America Third-Team and All-SEC First-Team selection, along with Bianka Bell and Jacee Blades, a pair of 2013 All-SEC Second-Team picks.
