BATON ROUGE – The LSU men’s basketball team has announced that its fourth annual walk-on tryouts will be held on Monday, Sept. 19, at the LSU practice facility gymnasium.
There is a mandatory meeting at 3 p.m. on Monday with the tryout session beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Present team member Andrew Del Piero was selected in last year’s try-out session.
“The main thing is it is an opportunity for someone to possibly represent LSU, play college basketball at the highest level and to be a part of the team,” said LSU Coach Trent Johnson.
All students interested in trying out must email Zach Kendrick (zkendr1@lsu.edu) of the men’s basketball staff, before Thursday (Sept. 15) at noon if interested to acquire the necessary information to enter the tryouts, including NCAA compliance eligibility.
