The former band member earned a scholarship for his senior season and by the end of the season may have been one of the most improved players in the Southeastern Conference, going from playing just two minutes in the season opener to starting 22 of the team’s 31 games … Averaged 4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds with 34 blocks … Averaged 13.6 minutes per game … 54-of-98 field goals made … Two games in double figures – 13 vs. Mississippi State (2/16) and 10 against Bethune Cookman (1/5) … Made 4-of-6 field goals and had 9 points in the road win at Texas A&M (3/6) … Blocked 4 shots against Houston Baptist (12/28) … Played 33 minutes against Florida (1/12) … Graduated in May 2013.
JUNIOR SEASON (2011-12)
In his second season as a walk-on for the Tigers, played in four games, scoring in two games … Scored two points versus Grambling (12/29) and one point versus Ole Miss (1/7) … Played seven minutes in the Grambling game … Averaged 0.8 points per game and 0.5 rebounds … Had two rebounds in the season opener against Nicholls (11/12).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010-11)
Walked-on to the team prior to the season and was able to practice with the team while redshirting from competition.
