FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Junior Christoph Lubenau and freshman of Hannes Heyl of the LSU men’s swimming team captured honorable mention All-American honors and set two of the fastest 100-butterfly times in school history Friday at the 2008 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.

Lubenau finished 9th in the 100 fly with a school-record time of 46.24. The Leipzig, Germany, native set the second fastest time in school history (46.53) in the prelims.

Heyl, who was seeded 32nd in the event, finished 16th by hitting the wall at 47.66. Heyl captured the third fastest time in school history in the prelims with a time 46.79.
