CAREER (2007-11)
Enjoyed one of the finest LSU swimming careers in the past decade … Capped off his time at LSU as a 10-time All-American, tied for the third-highest total in school history … One of only two swimmers in program annals to earn first-team All-America honors in the 100 butterfly … Also holds the program record in the 100 fly and was a member of three record-breaking relays … A four-time SEC Championships medalist who received bronze as a senior in the 100 fly … Led the team in the 100 free in three of four years, the 100 fly in both his junior and senior seasons and 100 back as a senior and freshman … Also a three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

SENIOR SEASON (2010-11)
LSU’s top men’s performer who earned NCAA first-team All-America accolades for the first time in his career … Also posted personal bests in his three best races and led the team in the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke and 100 freestyle … Earned first-team honors in the 100 fly at the NCAA Championships with a seventh-place finish (46.12) after qualifying third and breaking the school record in the prelims (45.77) … Raced to a personal best of 43.39 in the 100 free to take 23rd … Also placed 28th in the 100 back at NCAA’s (47.76) … Claimed a bronze medal in the 100 fly at the SEC Championships with a 46.55 clocking … Swam to seventh in the 100 back with a personal best of 47.15, third in program history, and posted a top-16 finish in the 100 free at SEC’s … Also held the butterfly leg on the men’s fourth-place 200 medley relay … Won the 100 fly at the Cougar Classic Invitational (48.64) and finished fourth in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 back … Went undefeated in the 100 fly during the dual-meet season, recording a 7-0 mark in that event … Swam to victory in the 100 fly at nationally-ranked Auburn (48.27) and against nationally-ranked Florida at home … Delivered a pair of victories in the 100 back and 100 fly in a road victory over Alabama and in a home win over Florida State … Emerged victorious in the 50 free and 100 fly at Texas A&M … Claimed first-place in the 100 fly and 100 free at the Florida Atlantic Invitational … Also recorded runner-up honors in the 50 free in the Florida International Invite … Received his fourth varsity letter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2009-10)
Continued to move up the ranks in program history with four more NCAA All-America honors … His eight honors is now tied for the fourth-highest total in program annals … Ranked first on the team in the 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle … Competed in every dual meet, Houston’s Cougar Classic Fall Invitational, SEC and NCAA Championships … Helped the Tigers earn NCAA honorable mention All-America status with a 14th-place finish in the 200 medley relay, 15th-place finishes in the 200 freestyle and 400 medley relays and a 16th-place finish in the 400 free relay … Also proved to be LSU’s top individual performer with a pair of top-20 finishes … Barely missed advancing to the consolation final of the 100 fly with a season best of 46.85 to place 17th and took 20th in the 100 free with the second-best clocking in program history, 43.42 … Placed 38th in the 100 backstroke … Reached the ‘A’ final of the 100 back at SEC’s for the third straight season, posting seventh with a season best of 48.22 … Claimed 11th in the 100 fly (47.29) and 16th in the 100 free (44.06) … Played a pivotal role on the squad’s third-place 200 medley relay, which shattered the school record with a 1:26.00 clocking … Also was a member of two other top-five relays … Won 10 individual races during the dual-meet season … Delivered first-place in the 100 back at the Cougar Classic and runner-up finishes in the 50 and 100 free and 100 fly … Swam to victory in the 100 back and 100 fly at Alabama … Topped the field in the 100 fly and 50 free at Florida State … Emerged victorious in the 50 free and 100 fly versus Texas A&M … Seized first in the 100 fly against nationally-ranked foes Auburn and Florida … Registered first in the 50 free in a win at UNO … Recorded four runner-up finishes on the season … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Received his third varsity letter.

Emerged as LSU’s best swimmer at the 2009 U.S. Open Swimming Championships … Captured fourth overall in the 100m butterfly with a blistering lifetime best of 53.16 … Took first (17th overall) in the ‘C’ final of the 100m freestyle (50.53) … Also qualified for a second swim in the 50m free and placed 20th (22.91).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008-09)
LSU’s top scoring swimmer at the SEC Championships who proved to be one of the most valuable athletes on the team … Held the team’s fastest sprint freestyle times and ranked second in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke … Earned two more honorable mention All-America honors at the NCAA Championships and played a vital role on three record-breaking relay squads … Helped the men’s 200 freestyle relay team claim All-America accolades with a 12th-place finish at NCAA’s (1:18.50) … Also a member of the Tigers’ All-America 400 medley relay, which placed 16th with a time of 3:12.82 … Led the Tigers to a record finish in the 200 freestyle relay at the Bulldog Invitational with a personal-best, lead-off split of 19.75 … That time ranks sixth in school history … Also posted the second-fastest 100-yard freestyle time in program annals at that meet with a split of 43.47 on the lead-off leg of the 400 freestyle relay … Emerged as the Tigers most valuable swimmer at SEC’s, placing in the top 10 in all three of his individual events … Won the consolation final of the 100 freestyle with a time of 43.62 … Finished eighth in the 100 backstroke (47.90) … Posted a career-best time of 47.30 in the prelims of that race, third in school history … Secured 10th in the 100 butterfly with a mark of 46.94 … Anchored the men’s record-setting 400 medley relay squad (3:10.54), which reached the medal podium with a third-place finish … Helped the 200 medley relay shatter a school record (1:26.81) and place fifth … Also a member of two other top-five relay teams … Took seventh in the 100 back at Texas A&M’s Art Adamson Invitational … Seized a victory in the consolation final of the 200 back … Also notched 11th in the 100 butterfly … Tallied 27 points in individual racing in a win over Alabama with a win in the 50 free and a sweep of the backstroke events … Secured the victory in the 100 back (48.47) in a win over No. 18 Florida State … Topped the field in the 100 back in a win versus No. 24 Kentucky … Swept the back races on the road at Texas A&M … Captured victories in the 50 free and 100 back at Florida Atlantic … Registered wins in the 200 free and 100 fly against Delta State … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.

Emerged as the men’s top newcomer … Earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships … The All-American 200 freestyle relay squad shattered a then-program-record with a time of 1:18.46 in the prelims … Swam the 100 fly in 47.66 seconds at NCAA’s to capture honorable mention All-America status … Recorded the program’s second-fastest mark in that race (46.79) during the prelims … Placed 24th in the 100 back at the national competition with the second-fastest clocking in school annals (47.95) … Also helped the 400 freestyle relay finish 19th at NCAA’s … Took the top spot in the consolation final of the 100 fly at the SEC Championships … Posted an NCAA ‘B’ cut qualifying mark of 47.60 in that race … Played a vital role in three top-six relay teams at SEC’s … Recorded a fifth-place finish at SEC’s in the 100 back … Wrapped up the regular season with nine titles in five different individual events during dual-meet competition … Emerged as the top swimmer in the 100 backstroke at the Georgia Tech Invitational, beating 34 other competitors … Finished second only to teammate Christoph Lubenau in the 100 fly out of 63 swimmers at the same meet … Was named SEC Freshman Swimmer of the Week after tallying victories in the 50 free and 200 back against Delta State … Swept all three of his individual races versus No. 18 Texas A&M en route to his second SEC Freshman Swimmer of the Week honor of the season … Secured first-place in the 100 free versus the fifth-ranked Florida Gators … Earned SEC Freshmen Academic Honor Roll Honors … Received his first varsity letter.
