BATON ROUGE — The LSU women’s tennis team’s match against Florida State on Sunday has been postponed until a later date to be announced because of rain.
The teams were in the middle of doubles play when the rain began. Amanda Mang and Staten Spencer won their match on court two, 8-4, but Tiffany Tucker and Lauren Seaman fell on court one, 8-3.
Marina Chiarelli and Camila Caliari were at 6-6 in the decisive match on court three when the match was stopped. No point was awarded for doubles competition.
The teams decided to reschedule the meeting for a later date in the season that will be announced as soon as details are cleared.
