Baltimore, Md. — Ripken Baseball today announced that it has postponed the Coaches Clinic that was scheduled to take place in Baton Rouge, La. this Sunday, November 23. The clinic will be rescheduled for the spring and a new date will be announced in the near future.
The clinic was postponed after several participants and interested coaches cited scheduling conflicts due to the upcoming holidays and related reasons. The clinic will be rescheduled for a date in February or March, 2004.
Cal Ripken, Jr. said, “We are very excited to bring our brand of teaching to Baton Rouge and work with Coach Bertman. We are confident that the clinic will be a success and because we want to reach as many coaches as possible we are moving it to a more attractive date. Coach Bertman recommended a date in the spring and we will follow his recommendation.”
