A two-time LSU graduate, Stephanie Durand Robin joined LSU Athletics as Chief of Staff in August of 2026 after working for nearly 20 years as Special Assistant to the Speaker in the Louisiana House of Representatives.
As Special Assistant to the Speaker, Robin oversaw administrative and logistical management for 105 state representatives, including travel, events, parking, chamber proceedings and more. She also acted as the Speaker’s Office’s legislative liaison for congressional delegation, State Senate, executive and judicial branch officials, lobbyists, and constituents.
Before joining the Speaker’s Office, Robin worked as Executive Director for the Acadiana Legislative Delegation, where she served as an extension of district offices for 48 Acadiana area legislators with bill tracking and policy research. She started with the Acadiana Legislative Delation as a student intern from 1999-2004.
The St. Martinville, La., native earned her bachelor’s degree from LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication in May of 2002 and also received her Master of Public Administration in May of 2004.
She and her husband Scott reside in Baton Rouge.
