Sara Wilson began leading the women’s tennis communications efforts in August of 2026. In her role, she manages all the public relations for the team, produces and handles all media relations such as creating and producing social media content, writing press releases and serving as the primary contact for outside media, the coaching staff, and other related departments.
Wilson began taking on a larger role in August 2025 by being a part of the women’s volleyball social media efforts and helped performed game day and game time needs throughout the 2025 season. Also being a part of the social media team for men’s basketball in the 2025-26 season, assisting with in-game responsibilities and contributing to post game communication efforts.
When joining the LSU Athletics Department in the fall of 2024, Wilson gained experience across a variety of sports, supporting programs throughout the department in all different areas. Responsibilities included managing and running stats, gathering content for social media platforms, and writing recaps of the press conferences within the winter and spring sports season.
The California native is set to graduate in May of 2027 with a degree in sport administration with a concentration in sport commerce and a minor in business administration.
