Kayla Jean Razo joined the LSU Athletic Department as an Athletic Training Intern in June of 2026 after graduating from the University of Houston with a master’s of athletic training (2026).
Razo attended LSU for her undergraduate studies, majoring in kinesiology. During her undergraduate studies, Razo was an Athletic Training Student Worker, working with the Volleyball team during the 2023 season and the Track & Field team during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Razo then attended the University of Houston for her master of athletic training, where she completed a year-long immersion with the University of Houston Track & Field team.
In her free time, Razo enjoys spending time playing with her cats and dog. She also enjoys binge-watching TV shows, building Lego sets, and spending time with friends and family.
