Isaiah Badua joined the LSU Athletics Department as a Performance Innovation and Analytics Assistant in June of 2026. A two-time graduate of LSU, Badua earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration with a specialization in Commerce and a Master of Business Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Analytics.
Born and raised in California, Isaiah moved to Louisiana in 2020 to attend LSU and pursue opportunities within one of the premier athletic departments in college sports. Over the past six years, he has worked within LSU Athletics in a variety of roles spanning gameday operations, administrative analytics, athlete performance, and performance innovation.
Through these experiences, Isaiah has worked both directly and indirectly with nearly every team and department, gaining a broad understanding of the needs, challenges, and opportunities across LSU Athletics. His work has included website and internal tool development, data-driven scouting and game-planning support, athlete performance analysis, player development resources, process improvement initiatives, and cross-departmental analytics projects designed to help coaches, staff, and administrators make more informed decisions.
In addition to his work at LSU, Isaiah’s projects have provided support for current and future professional athletes, including athletes competing in the NFL and other professional opportunities beyond college athletics. His work reflects a focus on connecting data, technology, and practical application in ways that support both team success and individual athlete development.
In his current role, Isaiah will continue providing analytical support throughout the LSU Athletics Department, utilizing technology to enhance athlete performance, improve operational processes, increase automation, and help teams and departments move into the next era of college athletics through more efficient and informed decision-making.
