Eddie Kennison

Eddie Kennison joined the LSU Sports Properties staff in February of 2022 and currently serves as a senior account executive. He is entering his third year with LSU Sports Properties.

Before taking the position, Kennison worked in the LSU Football program as the Director of Player Development. Kennison held that role from 2020 to 2022. The Lake Charles, La. native played for the Tiger football program from 1993-1995. During his time within the program, Kennison earned Second-Team All-SEC honors and was named the Percy E. Roberts award winner, which was given the team’s Most Outstanding Offensive Player.

After finishing his professional football career ended with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007, Kennison started up a website called Barrel 87, where he and former teammates hosted a web series that involved bringing on celebrity chefs to discuss culinary creations and unique wines.

Kennison has three sons – Karrington, Jisiah, and Griffin.
