Alex Sjobakken

Alex Sjobakken serves as the Director of Marketing and in this role, oversees the marketing efforts and gameday production for Football, Gymnastics, and Baseball. Sjobakken also oversees the assistant directors and graduate assistants. She was hired as the Assistant Director of Marketing in 2021 and has been in her current role since September 2023.

Prior to coming to LSU, Sjobakken was a graduate assistant at Boise State University and spent one year as a marketing assistant at Fresno State University.

Sjobakken was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. She received her bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science from Colorado State University in May 2018 and master’s degree in athletic leadership from Boise State University in May 2021.
