A seven-time state champion in track and field for Lafayette High School … set nine school records at Lafayette … helped lead Lafayette to an indoor state title in 2017 by claiming four gold medals (800m, 1,600m, 4×4, 4×8) … four-time individual state champion by winning back-to-back titles in the 800 meter and 1,600 meters in 2017 and 2018 … All-Acadiana MVP for track in 2017 … owns the regional 800 meter record with a time of 2:14.89 … has competed at the Texas Relays, New Balance Nationals and Mobile Meet of Champions.
Personal
Daughter of Christi and Shane Primeaux … has an older brother (Austin) … plans on majoring in English with a concentration in secondary education … chose LSU because it feels like home; being this close to a quality program in LSU, it just made sense to stay in state and don the Purple and Gold.
