Competed in four meets during her sophomore season in 2012 … Set a personal record of 5 minutes, 41.71 seconds in the mile to take 13th place at the LSU Twilight … Earned third-place finishes in both the 800 meters (2:46.17) and mile (5:55.61) at the LSU NCAA Indoor Qualifier … Clocked an outdoor PR of 5:20.14 for 32nd place in the 1,500 meters at the Louisiana Classics … Added a 43rd-place finish in the 800 meters in LSU’s outdoor season opener at the Louisiana Classics with a run of 2:42.94 … Earned 11th place in the 5,000 meters at the LSU Relays with a personal-best time of 19:28.60 … Honored as the Tiger Athletic Foundation Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year at LSU during the 2012 TAF Academic Excellence Gala … Also selected as a recipient of the Wally Pontiff, Jr. Academic Excellence Award at the TAF Academic Excellence Gala.
