Competed in cross country and track for four years at Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge … Earned four letters in track and two letters in cross country … Helped her high school dominate the competition in 2005-06 by winning the “Triple Crown” with state championships in cross country, as well as both indoor and outdoor track and field … Was named to the Louisiana Track and Field Coaches Association Academic All-State Team in 2005.
