Enjoyed a sensational senior season for the Tigers in which he was crowned NCAA champion in the 400-meter hurdles … Clocked the second-fastest time in school history with a personal best of 48.51 in the final at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships … Became LSU’s second national champion in the intermediate hurdles in program history, joining Tiger great Billy Hardin in 1964 … In addition, was crowned NCAA Mideast Regional champion in the 400 hurdles as a senior after clocking a time of 49.68 at the regional meet in Columbia, Mo. … Earned All-America honors in the event in 2006 with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA meet … Was a two-time All-American as a member of the Tigers’ 4×400-meter relay team during his senior season … Squad finished fourth at the NCAA Indoor Championships and third at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2007 … Was also a standout in the classroom during his brief career at LSU as he was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2006 and 2007.

Earned All-America honors in the 400-meter hurdles after finishing sixth in the event at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (49.56) … Clocked a personal-best 49.36 during the semifinal round … Time ranks as the third fastest in Tiger school history … Finished third in the 400 hurdles at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships (49.49) … Just missed earning all-conference honors, placing third at the SEC meet (50.46) … Won three hurdles titles – LSU Tiger Relays (51.59), Tiger Classic (51.71) and Miami Elite (50.91) … During the indoor season, concentrated on the 800 meters … Recorded a personal-best 1:51.00 at the SEC Championships to place third overall … Ran 1:51.45 at the Alex Wilson Open and 1:51.56 at the UNM Lobo Invitational … Also ran the 800-meter leg on the Tigers’ distance medley relay team that shattered the 11-year old school record with a time of 9:41.04.

Attended South Plains Junior College in Levelland, Texas … Was named a NJCAA First-Team All-America selection in the 400-meter hurdles after finishing first at the national meet with a time of 50.51 … Set the South Plains JC school record in the event, clocking a personal best 49.96.
