Crowned an USTFCCCA South Central All-Region member for the second season in a row after finishing 18th at the NCAA South Central Regional with a time of 21:03.7… helped the Tigers to a third-place finish at the NCAA South Central Regional, tying the highest-team finish in program history from last season… finished second at the FSU Invitational behind her teammate with a time of 17:20.5 in the 5k… finished 42nd at the SEC Championships with a time of 21:16.2 in the 6k… recorded a season-best time of 20:39.2 in the 6k at the Arturo Barrios Invitational… scored for the Tigers in all four meets competed in.
2022 (FRESHMAN)
Recorded a third-place finish in her first meet at the LSU Invitational with a time of 17:27.1 in the 5k… ran a personal-best time of 17:16.6 in the 5k at the FSU Invitational to finish second individually… was second among Tigers at the SEC Championships with a personal-best 6k time of 20:32.3 in 22nd place… finished 25th at her first NCAA South Regional Championship with a time of 21:15.7 in the 6k.
PRIOR TO LSU – Homeschooled
A New Balance High School Outdoor National Champion and three-time record holder, Michaela Rose comes to LSU with outdoor personal bests of 54.04 (400 meters), 58.16 (400m hurdles), 2:04 (800 meters), and 4:46 (1,500 meters)… Rose won the New Balance High School outdoor 800-meter championship in 2019 with a time of 2:04.38 and the New Balance High School outdoor 400 meter championship in 2019 with a time of 55.20… Rose holds the AAU National Junior Olympic 15-16 Age Group Record in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:05 as well as the Virginia State All-time record in the outdoor 800-meter race and the indoor 600-meter race… multiple All-American finishes in the New Balance Championships, Foot Locker Cross Country South Regional, and both the AAU & USATF Junior Olympics.

Born on June 13, 2003, in Suffolk, Va… daughter of Michael Sr and Marcia Rose… has three siblings… both of her parents lettered at Auburn University under Dennis Shaver… plans to pursue a degree in biochemistry at LSU.
