Played in six tournaments, two as an individual player for the Lady Tigers … Won three of four possible points for the Lady Tigers in the Hooter’s National Women’s Match Play Championships, winning two matches and tying two others … Had four best rounds of 74 (at Cougar Classic, 1st rd.; at Mason Rudolph, 1st and 3rd rd.; and, at UCF Challenge, 2nd rd. … Best finish in stroke play competition was tie for 38th at nine-over 225 (74-77-74) at Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt.

JUNIOR SEASON (2005-06)
Played in four events, the Cougar Classic, Lady Tar Heel, Chrysler Challenge and the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic … Averaged 77.8 for the season … Career average for 36 rounds is 77.69 … Best round of year was a 75 in the final round of the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic and best tournament finish was a tie for 31st at Chrysler Challenge.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2004-05)
Saw action in three tournaments, averaging 77.44 … Best finish was a tie for 19th finish in the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic at the University Club where she tied for 19th (74-77-74 — 225) … Also participated in the Mercedes-Benz Championship in the fall and on the team for the spring-opening Central District Invitational … Four of six rounds counted for team score and had 7 of 9 rounds in the 70s.
 
FRESHMAN SEASON  (2003-04)
Made her debut, joining her twin sister in the spring portion of the season, helping the Tigers to a victory in the Central District Tournament, in her first start … Played in five of the six spring events, 15 rounds, averaging 77.73, fourth on the team … Best finish was the opening Central District event, finishing in a tie for 13th (73-77-78 – 228) … Finished in a tie for 18th in SEC Women’s Championships in Baton Rouge, closing with a season best round of two-under 70 … 10.7 of 15 rounds counted for team score (63.67%)
 
PRIOR TO LSU
Participated in hockey, swimming and tennis, besides golf at the Port Shepstone High School … Began playing golf at the age of 12 … In December 2000, both Nicola and her sister were invited to join the Ernie Els Foundation, a non-profit organization started by the South African PGA star to help develop junior golfers through 2003 … Third in the Kwazulu Ladies Amateur, 18th in the South African Ladies Order of Merit … Tied with sister, Melissa, in 2002 KZN junior championships at Royal Durban with score of 147 … Golf coach Derek James and mom, Colleen.
