McClurg returns to action after injury forced her to take a redshirt season. . . .She came to LSU in the spring of 1999 after transferring from Northern Arizona and contributed several key rounds to help the Tigers to the 1999 Division I Championships.

1999-2000 (Redshirt Season)
Redshirted after wrist injury forced her out for the season. . . .In the summer of 2000, finished in second place in the Washington State Women’s Amateur (73-71-74 – par 73). . . .Was medalist (73-par 72) in the Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur Championship. . . .Qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur for the second time. . . .Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll and won the Manship School of Journalism Academic Distinction award.

1998-1999 (Junior Season)
Averaged 79.78 strokes per round for the seven tournaments played since joining the LSU team for the spring semester. . . .Best finish was a tie for 27th at the SEC Women’s Championships (82-78-77 — 237). . . .Best round was second round at the Lady Gamecock, a one-over 73 which led to a 28th place finish. . . .69.4 percent of rounds counted for team score in the spring (12.5 of 18). . . .Averaged 78.86 in second rounds of competition.
