2000 SEC Academic Honor Roll

LSU’s starting point guard in 1999-2000 … Started 27 straight games at point guard in 1999-2000 and the Lady Tigers were 21-6 over that span … Took over point guard duties when Kisha James went down with season-ending knee injury in LSU’s final exhibition contest on Nov. 14 … Most unselfish player on the team … Not one to be concerned with scoring, although she can score when called upon … Assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.7:1 as she dished 126 assists while turning the ball over only 75 times … Joined Marie Ferdinand and Katrina Hibbert as the three players on the 1999-2000 team with 100 assists each, a first in school history … At 5-foot-11 gives LSU one of the bigger point guards around … Can also play the shooting guard position and the small forward spot … Very good on the defensive end as well.

Junior Season (1999-2000): Played in 30 games with 27 starts … Averaged 3.5 points and finished third on the squad with 4.2 assists per game … Started all four NCAA Tournament games for the Lady Tigers … Dished out four assists to go with two block shots and a steal in 36 minutes in win over Liberty … Followed that with three points, three rebounds, five assists in 39 minutes in second round win over Stephen F. Austin … Hit 12-foot jumper with 8:38 left in the game vs. SFA that capped LSU’s 18-0 run, a stretch that saw the Lady Tigers go from being down 35-24 to going up 42-35 after Crockett’s basket … Collected two points, two blocks, one assist and two rebounds in Sweet 16 win over Duke; two points, two rebounds, one assist in Elite Eight loss to Connecticut … For the tournament, she averaged 1.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 blocks … First start of season came in LSU’s 80-74 upset-win over second-ranked Georgia in Athens … LSU was 21-6 with Crockett in the starting lineup … Had only double-figure game against Jackson State on Dec. 28 with 10 points and a career-best nine assists … Also had nine assists in win over Florida on Feb. 24 … Played 40 minutes five times during the year, four of which came in SEC play … Had eight assists to go with four points in 39 minutes vs. Arkansas on Feb. 12 … Had 11 games in which she dished out at least six assists … Top rebounding effort came against Kentucky with six boards … Also had nine points, three steals and three assists in 40 minutes vs. Kentucky on Jan. 20.

Sophomore Season (1998-99): Played in 27 games and averaged 1.7 points and 0.9 rebounds a contest … Scored 6 points in both games against Arkansas … Dished out season-high 4 assists in win over St. John’s … Had 2 points and 4 rebounds in road SEC win over South Carolina … Played 18 minutes and had 2 rebounds and 2 assists in road SEC victory over Vanderbilt …

Freshman Season (1997-98): Played in 26 games, starting three times … Averaged 3.5 points and 1.5 rebounds a contest … Shot only 30.2 percent (29-96) from the field … Drew first career start against South Carolina and responded with 11 points in LSU win in December … Followed that with 14 points in start against Jackson State … Other start came against Southwestern Louisiana (5 points) … Tailed off at the end of the year as she only scored 10 points in final 11 appearances … Did score 5 points in 13 minutes against Tennessee … Grabbed a career-best 6 rebounds in first round Women’s NIT win over Boise State … Dished out career-high 5 assists in home win over South Carolina on Dec. 4.

High School: Averaged 19.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.0 steals as a senior for McCall High School … As a senior, was a first team All-State, first team All-District and first team All-Northeast selection … Also played for the East squad in the Louisiana High School All-Star game … In the All-Star game, hit a game-winning 3-point shot as time expired to give the East squad a one point victory over the West team … Had career-highs of 37 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists … Academically, was Valedictorian of graduating class, was a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the National Beta Club.
