Junior Season (1999-2000): Played in nine games … Scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds on the year … Scored first career basket in the second game of the season versus UNC-Asheville … Scored career-high four points in win over Jackson State on Dec. 28 … Also had two points versus St. Bonaventure.
Sophomore Season (1998-99): Played in seven games for a total of 20 minutes … Took only one shot, and missed, against Texas-Pan American … Had an assist vs. UT-Pan American … Blocked a shot against Houston and had one steal against SE Louisiana … Also saw action in wins over St. John’s, USL, Southern and Arkansas, but did not record any stats in those games.
Freshman Season (1997-98): Played in 1 game, LSU’s 58-38 win over Boise State in the first round of the Women’s NIT … Did not scored against Boise State, but had a career-best 2 rebounds.
High School: First team all-district pick as a senior at University High School … Averaged 12.0 points a contest as a senior … Also participated in track and field … Named the SportsCare Scholar-Athlete at U-High as a senior … Coached in high school by Jill White.
Personal: Born June 10, 1979 in Baton Rouge … Parents are Gary and Rosemary Weiner … Has two sisters, Kim and Lauren … Hobbies include playing tennis and reading … Secretary of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at LSU … Majoring in Political Science … Served as an assistant coach on a 12 and under AAU team that finished 13th in the nation in the summer of 1999.
