Proved to be one of the top post players in the nation, earning State Farm Coaches’ Honorable Mention All-America honors … An SEC Coaches First Team and Associated Press All-SEC Second Team recipient … Started 31 games … Averaged 12.2 points per game overall, which ranked 15th in the SEC, while tallying five double-doubles … Was also 10th in the league in rebounding with 6.3 boards per game … In SEC contests, led LSU and ranked 13th in the league in scoring with 12.6 ppg and was sixth in rebounding with 7.5 rpg … Eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career with seven points against Arkansas on Jan. 27 … Became the 29th player in school history to reach the milestone … Three days later in the following game, gathered 12 rebounds to reach the 500 rebound mark in her career … Became the 24th player in school history to reach the milestone … Poured in a season-high 21 points in loss at South Carolina on Jan. 11 … Followed that up with her second double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 boards in win over Alabama on Jan. 9 … Became the first player since Allison Hightower in 2010 to have back-to-back 20-point games … Led the Lady Tigers to a rout of Ole Miss on Jan. 20 with a game-high 19 points, seven assists, two blocks and seven rebounds in 30 minutes of action … Scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half and finished 8-of-9 from the free throw line … Put in 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for her third double-double of the season on Jan. 23 against Florida … The 12 boards were the most by an LSU player in an SEC game since Sylvia Fowles had 12 against Mississippi State on March 2, 2008 … Also set a career-high in assists with eight against the Gators … Were the most assists by an LSU player this season … Injured her left ankle in the second half of the UF game but still managed to return and put in the final seven points of the game, including a career-best two 3-pointers … Named SEC Player of the Week for the first time in her career for her performances against Ole Miss and Florida … Notched another double-double with 11 points and a career-high 14 rebounds at #15 Kentucky on Feb. 13 … The 14 boards were the most by an LSU player since Kristen Morris had 16 versus Green Bay in the 2009 NCAA Tournament … Scored a game-high 14 points to lead LSU past Alabama in SEC Tournament first round on March 3 … Had her fifth double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds to nearly lead LSU to an upset of No. 16 Kentucky in the SEC quarterfinals on Feb. 4 … Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2009-10)
One of the top players in the SEC who followed up her SEC Freshman of the Year season with another terrific year … Voted onto the Coaches All-SEC Second Team … LSU’s leading rebounder with 6.6 boards per game … Ranked second on the team in points per contest and 14th in the SEC with 12.8 ppg … Led the Lady Tigers and the SEC in free throw percentage, knocking down 141-of-167 free throws for 84.4 percent … The 141 made free throws ranked sixth in LSU singles-season annals while her percentage was eighth in LSU history … Owned five double-doubles on the year … Lifted LSU to an overtime win at Tulane with 22 points and eight rebounds on Nov. 25 … Was 11-of-12 from the free throw line in that game … Poured in 27 points with 10 rebounds and finished 10-of-21 from the floor to carry LSU past Auburn … Scored a career-high 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting against Ole Miss while grabbing 10 boards … Finished 10-of-12 from the free throw line in that game … It represented her second straight double-double, the first LSU player to do that since Sylvia Fowles did so in 2008 … Played a career-high 51 minutes in the triple-overtime thriller against Ole Miss on Feb. 7 … Had 23 points, 11 rebounds and was a career-best 13-of-14 from the free throw line in that game … The 13 free throws tied for third in LSU single-game history and were the most in a game since Marie Ferdinand buried 14 versus Purdue in the NCAA Tournament on March 18, 2001 … Saw a streak of 23 consecutive free throws come to an end in the Ole Miss game … The streak dated back to the first half of the Kentucky game on Jan. 28 … Scored in double-figures in both NCAA tournament contests, including a game-high 20 points in first round win over Hartford … Was 10-of-11 from the free throw line and added eight boards in 27 minutes of action … Posted 12 points in second round loss to Duke … Recipient of two awards at the annual postseason banquet, including the Maree Jackson Outstanding Post Player and the Miriam Segar Outstanding Student … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year.
