SEC Player of the Week (2/15/22)
SUPER SENIOR SEASON (2022-23)
Starred as the point guard for LSU’s National Championship squad, starting in 34 games and playing all 36 games … Finished her college career as a National Champion after battling through adversity her entire college career … Averaged 15.4 points and 4.1 assists throughout the season … Finished the season with 12 games with 20+ points, including in the final three games of the NCAA Tournament … Had 15 games with at least five assists … Scored a career-high 31 points in LSU’s win over Tennessee on Jan. 30 … Dished out a career-high 12 assists while committing just one turnover in LSU SEC opener win at Arkansas on Dec. 29 … Averaged 16.8 points and 3.8 assists in six NCAA Tournament games … Led LSU with 27 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, in the Final Four to help LSU erase a nine-point deficit and earn a spot in the National Championship … Scored 19 of her 21 points in the National Championship game against Iowa in the second half to help the Tigers secure their first NCAA Championship.
SENIOR SEASON (2021-22)
Electrified LSU’s offense during her first season in Baton Rouge… The NCAA granted her eligibility to play for LSU prior to the Tigers’ second game of the season against FGCU where she scored 12 points, got 4 steals and blocked 2 shots… Scored in double-figures in her first 11 games at LSU and finished the season with 22 games scoring in double-figures, averaging 15.0 points per game to rank No. 15 in the SEC… Shot the ball 46.1-percent from the field to rank No. 8 in the SEC… Helped lead LSU to its first win over a ranked opponent with what was at the time a career-high 25 points against No. 14 Iowa State, sinking five threes… Scored a new career-high on Jan. 2 with 30 points against her former team, Texas A&M… Had another great game at Texas A&M on Feb. 13 with 16 points in the second half to finish with 25 in the game… Blocked Missouri’s last-second layup attempt in overtime on Jan. 13 to secure LSU’s victory… Suffered a sprained MCL in the first minute of LSU’s Feb. 24 game against Alabama that limited her throughout the remainder of the season… Did not play in the SEC Tournament and saw limited action during the NCAA Tournament… Still played a key role in LSU’s first-round win over Jackson State, sinking 8-9 free throws and helping LSU erase a 10-point deficit with 4:54 remaining in the game.
JUNIOR SEASON (2020-21 at TEXAS A&M)
Deemed immediately eligible to play for the Aggies on Dec. 3 following a brief hiatus due to NCAA transfer regulations… Played in 20 of the Aggies 28 games this year… Averaged 6.0 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game … Made her first appearance in the rivalry win over No. 25 Texas finishing with six points highlighted by two clutch free throws to seal the game (Dec. 6)… Scored 12 points while leading A&M to a 34-0 difference in bench scoring against Little Rock (Dec. 10)… Recorded a season-high 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field, also contributing two assists and a steal versus Abilene Christian (Dec. 13)… Finished with five points, three assists, two rebounds and two steals in the win over Sam Houston State (Dec. 15)… Had a season-high 16 points against Rice to go along with three rebounds and three assists (Dec. 20)… Scored 12 points with four rebounds, four steals and two assists in A&M’s record-setting game against Northwestern State (Dec. 28)… Appeared in nine SEC regular season contests… Stood out as an impact player off the bench in the SEC Tournament, averaging 12.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists during the Aggies conference tournament run.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019-20 at RUTGERS)
Appeared in seven games for the Scarlet Knights, who finished 22-9 and advanced to the Big Ten Conference Tournament quarterfinals.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2018-19 at RUTGERS)
Sat out during the 2018-19 season due to NCAA Transfer Regulations.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017-18 at BAYLOR)
Appeared in 34 of 35 games with eight starts, averaging 9.4 points, 3.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds as a freshman for a Lady Bears squad that reached the 2018 Sweet 16 … A Big 12 All-Freshman Team member … Led Baylor in 3-point field goal percentage shooting at a .462 clip … Led all Big 12 freshmen with a .836 free throw percentage … 10th in the Big 12 in assists (3.4) and seventh in assist/turnover ratio (1.9) … Collected 116 assists to tie the Baylor freshman record … Had 16 double-figure scoring performances, including a career-high 19 points against No. 7 Texas in the Big 12 Championship game.
HIGH SCHOOL (2013-2017)
Rated a five-star recruit and the No.6 ranked guard and No. 18 ranked player overall by ESPN HoopGurlz at Legacy Christian High School … Named to the Jordan Brand Classic and played in the McDonald’s All-American game … Selected as the 2017 Texas Gatorade Player of the Year and four-time Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools 3A Player of the Year … Totaled 3,369 points during her high school career … Led her teams to four-straight district titles and a Class 3A state championship in 2017 … In her senior campaign, poured in 31.1 point per game, including four 40-point performances and nine 30-point games, along with 6.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 4.8 steals per contest.
