Jordin Westbrook Season 2024-25
Jordin Westbrook is in her third season on staff with the LSU Women’s Basketball team. She serves as Assistant Director for LSU Women’s Basketball.
Overseeing LSU’s student managers, Westbrook works within all areas of the program to ensure it runs at an efficient level to set the Tigers up for success. Her efforts have also helped drive fans to games. In two seasons at LSU there have been six game attendances that are top-15 all time for women’s basketball at LSU. Westbrooks’s organization in working with multiple departments ultimately helped LSU capture its first national championship in 2023.
Westbrook’s experience with Coach Kim Mulkey dates back to her time as a student at Baylor where she earned two degrees; her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and a Master’s of Education in Sports Management. While she was going to school, Westbrook served as a team manager for the Baylor Women’s Basketball program from 2009-2013.
She earned the position of graduate assistant for SMG at Baylor’s McLane Stadium where Westbrook oversaw the daily function of McLane Stadium as it related to Baylor athletic events, outside special events, safety and security and its tenants.
After being hired full time with SMG in 2016, Westbrook decided to return to the Lady Bears program in July 2019 as the Associate Director of Operations. At that time, she began to work closely with Johnny Derrick and Jennifer Roberts, both of whom are now on the LSU Women’s Basketball staff, to conduct administrative and business duties for the team such as scheduling team activities, assisting in team travel and other duties across all aspects of the program.
The Zionsville, Indiana, native grew up around basketball. She played at Zionsville High School, where she graduated from in 2009.
