Competed solely in the long jump … earned the fourth All-American honor of his career with a seventh place finish at the NCAA Championships with a leap of 25’ 6.25” (7.78m) … won three event titles on the season at the Crimson Tide Invitational (26’ 7.75”/8.12mw), LSU Invitational (26’ 7.25”/8.11mw), and Battle on the Bayou (25’ 11”/7.90m) … placed second at the LSU Alumni Gold meet with a wind aided mark of 26’ 10.50” (8.19mW) … took sixth at the Texas Relays (25’ 5.50”/7.76m).

Competed solely in the long jump … set PR of 26’ 6.50” (8.09 meters) at the Razorback Invitational to claim gold … placed sixth at the SEC Championships with a leap of 24’ 10” (7.57 meters) … won titles at Purple Tiger Invitational (26’ 4.50”/8.04 meters) and the Corky Classic (25’ 7.25”/7.80 meters) … captured silver at the MLK Jr. Invitational with a mark of 25’ 5.25” (7.75 meters) … took fourth with a leap of 25’ 4” (7.72 meters) at the Tyson Invitational … ended the season with the No. 3 long jump mark in the NCAA (26’ 6.50”/8.09 meters).

Earned First Team All-America honors in the long jump at the NCAA Championships with a fourth-place finish as he leaped out to a wind-aided mark of 7.96 meters (26-1.50) … placed eighth at the SEC Championships in the long jump with a wind-aided bound of 7.76 meters (25-5.50) … claimed gold with a long jump of 7.63 meters (25-0.50) at the LSU Battle on the Bayou … garnered silver in the long jump at the Pac-12/Big Ten Invitational (7.35 meters/24-1.50) and Miami Hurricane Invitational (7.60 meters/24-11.25) … picked up a third-place finish in the long jump at the LSU Invitational with a bound of 7.51 meters (24-7.75) … registered a jump of 7.70 meters (25-3.25) at the Texas Relays to earn bronze … finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 7.56 meters (24-9.75) at the LSU Alumni Gold.

2017
